BackPurge™ was developed to give the Honda Talon the aggressive sound, stronger response, and overall presence it always should’ve had from factory.
The entire system was designed around creating a deeper, cleaner exhaust note without the harsh metallic rasp and hollow “tin can” sound common with many traditional ATV-style exhaust systems.
The result is a deep, unmistakable exhaust tone that stays clean and aggressive throughout the RPM range while maintaining a more refined overall sound character than most side-by-side exhaust setups.
But BackPurge™ wasn’t built around sound alone.
The system was designed to improve overall exhaust flow, throttle response, and mid-to-top-end pull while still maintaining smooth drivability for everything from trail riding to full-throttle riding days.
Seat-of-the-pants wise, the machine feels noticeably stronger through the low-to-mid range and continues pulling harder on top compared to the restrictive factory system.
No excessive drone.
No harsh metallic noise.
No sloppy universal-style muffler feel.

Built from premium stainless steel with fully TIG welded construction, BackPurge™ was purpose-built specifically for the Honda Talon platform with durability, fitment, sound quality, and long-term performance as primary focuses.

Tune Recommendations- No tune required to run. A good tune will make a noticeable difference with drivability and overall performance. We currently run Florida Cracker Performance and is who we recommend. Hess and PPEI have also been good.

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Cancellation & Return Policy
Cancellations
- Orders canceled before 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on the day they are placed will receive a full refund.
- Orders canceled after the day of purchase, but before fabrication begins, are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover payment processing and administrative costs.
- Once fabrication has begun or an order has shipped, the order cannot be canceled.
Returns & Warranty
- Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your package or product arrives damaged, do not install it. Contact us immediately with photos of the product, packaging, and any damage so we can make it right.
- If a return is approved, please package the product as closely as possible to the way it was originally shipped to help prevent damage during transit.
- If the return is due to shipping damage, a manufacturing defect, or an error on our part, Beyond the Road will provide a return shipping label and repair or replace the product at no cost.
- If the product is returned due to customer damage, misuse, improper installation, or modifications, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and the cost of any required repairs or replacement materials.
- Please contact us before returning any product. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
